Founded in the fall of 2008 as a Thursday night side project at McDunna's in Chicago, the Liquid Beat Allstars took an amorphous personality with a constantly changing lineup and an expansive inquiry into sound and space. With the unwavering message of groove and improvisation, the project quickly evolved into more than just a Thursday night experiment. It seemed as if the dynamic was cosmically aligned, as each of the current members took their first steps into the realm of The Liquid Beat.
Now, after just a short time, The Liquid Beat has established a presence in Chicago as a hard-hitting electro-funk band that thrives on groove and improvisation and will undoubtedly leave you wanting more show after show.

FGC's got two hometown area shows this weekend! Friday is an all ages extravaganza at the House Cafe in Dekalb, and Saturday is a hometown throwdown at the Abbey Pub in Chicago (Ages 18+). Fans that attend both shows can pick up a FREE FGC album of their choice at Saturday's show (just grab the Free Album Coupon at the House Cafe and redeem it at the Abbey Pub)!
In other news, FGC is also excited to announce that the band will be celebrating New Year's Eve 2009 at the Redstone Room in Davenport, IA.
