Synchronicity. The word certainly describes the eclectic, chaotic, yet harmonious mix of people who are part of the musical experience that is The Liquid Kitchen (TLK).
After a brief hiatus away from bands, Jason and Sato, long time collaborators and friends, decided it was time to be creative in a group setting once again. Between Jason and Sato, there is enough experience and talent to catalyze deep, soulful, rock and roll. Jason is able to ad lib lyrics and writes inherently simple yet great grooves over which songs can be built upon; his facility with these should be the envy of most "hit-makers". Sato, amazing drummer whose sense of dynamics, along with his knowledge of Jason's style makes for a tight connection. Loren is a talented, Texas-sized low-frequency expert, whose onstage Jack Daniel’s-fueled performance has been honed on his vast experience opening for national touring bands. Gio, originally from Brazil, had as a goal to play in a band again after 10 years! As a guitar player, Gio adds textures, solos, or whatever it takes to make a song part of The Liquid Kitchen and is the resident tone-freak of the band.
The Liquid Kitchen is a democratic congregation of musicians where everyone's input is integral to making our music! The band has the goal of changing the direction of rock music today, incorporating some of the best elements of late 60's and 70's music, with modern day production values. More importantly, TLK wants to bring back the element of fun that has been missing in rock and roll in the past decade.
