Originally Formed in the summer of 1992 under the name "Kirby Pucketts Big Butt" The "Lisas" had a short run as the premier party band of the western suburbs of minneapolis. After a summer of such well known partys as "the Laplant bash" "Janellfest"and "The 30 man hot tub party" we as a band decided to go for playing bars. we became known as "The Moaning Lisas"........ Now if you remember those days you remember the fun we all had!!!!!! WE ARE HAPPY TO TELL YOU........................we are back!!!!!
Its been more than a decade and there has been many bands in between. Scott went off to become one of the most sought after blues acts in minneapolis.............Jason went with Kurt to do "The Poker dogs" and then with scott in "Nine Below Zero" .................and Kurt has done bands like "The Poker Dogs" "Menace" and "Chris Hawkey" Our newest member Matt comes to us from the national touring band "Undying Anthem" and we are very excited to have our good friend join us on this little project!!!!!! We will be getting our chops up to par and learning songs for a bit. Well we have had some shake ups in the last two months..........our good friend Scott is not with us for the time being we love and miss him and hope he is kickin ass in Maui!!!!
