The Listening Room is an open mic that runs every Sunday at the Blue Blazer pub in Edinburgh. It has a cool, friendly atmosphere where performers are asked to play original material for an attentive audience. Perfect for solo performers or bands wanting to try out a new song or for people who want to come and relax and listen to some wicked tunes. The proceedings kick off at 20:00 with an hour of open slots, a wee break, and a 45-minute set by a headline act. It's a splendid evening for one and all and what's better is it's absolutely FREE. So please come soothe your hangover and give your ears a treat at The Listening Room. You may also be lucky enough to win a treat in the raffle. Woo hoo!!
The Blue Blazer is a lovely, traditional Scottish pub situated just off Lothian Road. It was awarded "City Pub of the Year" in 2007.
