it's much more difficult to hear back from, say, a partly cloudy, neither warm nor cold, unremarkable day. those days dont really say much, and when you are used to hearing a constant stream of input, its difficult to get very excited about ordinaryness. then it hits you, maybe i should stop trying to be very excited, maybe i'll just be momentarily amused. but im going to rock that momentary amusement while its there, and then move on to something else. see, waiting for inspiration is like living in the past, it makes it very hard to experience anything fully. even if that anything is unremarkable, there is a difference between noting that unremarkability and choosing not to remark on it, and simply not remarking on anything by default unless something jumps out at you begging for you interaction. see, in the former, you are interacting all the time, whereas in the latter, you only interact when the interaction is forced upon you. people are always forcing themselves on you. it might be what they do best. hell, i'm forcing myself on you right now. some times are more or less agreeable than others, but it's all quite noisy.

I am pretty saddened to hear you guys are calling it quits. It was an honor to watch your guys perform though, I won't forget it, and to this day no show I have gone to has been able to top the one where I saw you guys.
