About me:
I am a student of the way of Shoshin Ryu Karate Jitsu, Fook Yueng Chuan. Part of the path is learning and teaching the two are intertwined and cannot be separated, in the same way that a pond that only collects becomes stale and soon stinks. I share from the standpoint of tuning into the strengths and weaknesses of the student drawing out strengths and balancing the weaknesses then that persons neural system is maximized. Martial Arts is a way of life not just somthing that you do for the fun of it or because it seams cool. Fook Yueng taught me that all martial arts are good, "All same, Nothing". They are there to help us understand once we understand we dont need them any more and we walk on. It is like walking across a pond on stepping stones and half way across becoming attached to one in particular and staying with it because you dont want to leave it. That is fine I guess but you will never cross the pond that way. I was made an Inheritor by Fook Yueng who was a mentor, teacher, uncle figure to Bruce Lee. That path is teaching me humblness like nothing else has in my life. The path of the master is the path of a servant to those he teaches and shares with.Bo Stick Bear
