well... what can i say, i like playin' the guitar. i moved to nashville in 2003 with the intent of making, playing, performing, listening to music and have no way to begin to explain how much this city has taught me about everything.
I will be releasing my first full-length album this August, Sunshine and Snails. I recorded it almost entirely in a kitchen on summer afternoons, during breaks between jobs, during stoop parties, in the early morning after long drunken nights. The album is intimate and conversational, dirty, noisy, freeing, sad, triumphant, and everything that i wanted it to be when I started this project over a year ago.
this friday 10/30 is zombie prom at springwater! we are playing with kuntwind, fuckshow, vag and the outlaw lovers. it's pretty much the dirtiest line up ever but it will be bloody amazing. and probably just bloody. see you this friday! lots of love, pushy lips
