Apologies for the mass comment - but this is really too exciting to keep to myself.

This saturday night at the wonderful Fuel Cafe in Withington the very first Radio Foreplay will take place starting at 8pm.

We are showcasing:

CAPTAIN HOTKNIVES - The legendary comedy/acoustic/punk songster from Bradford. You really won't want to miss him.

SOUNDS OF (ACOUSTIC) SWAMI - An acoustic set from the Yorkshire hardcore mischief makers

ANDREW CREAM - Spanking new acoustic rock from just around the corner.

Featuring AL BAKER on the decks, playing all your soon-to-be favourite songs and 'MAGIC' MARK HAWORTH doing actual proper magic between the acts.

Price is only £3, come on down!

Hello!!

I'm going to be in Leeds til the Sunday (my little sister's moving out, so I have to be there to bid her a fond farewell). Sunday though, if you can be there it would be awesome! It's one of Tuesday Tony's nights. Probably starting about eight or nine and I'll be there with most of my ensemble of musicians, should be a good one.

as this is music related i should be posting from my other profile but i can't be arsed logging out and back in again.

firstly sian is coming to the archer/duke/kowalski gig with a whole load of us eejits off the duke special forums.

i'd say we all might head round to the hewitt after so you could have a huge crowd.

as for me playing. it's been over eight months since i played a gig and i've barely even touched a guitar in the meantime so it'll probably be a no to playing myself :)

This gig is being held to mark World AIDS Day. The bands have kindly agreed to play for free and ALL proceeds from the night will be going to charities who work with people living with HIV/AIDS globally as well as within the local community.

As if that wasn't incentive enough... the music will be class!

Sorry for the intrusion, but we’ve just finished our little album and wanted to tell the world! It’s only a modest affair, of course, a few sad songs, so if you could possibly come and have a listen it’d be much appreciated. Here’s a bit of art to try and tempt you – it’s all very gentle and well-intentioned I promise.

Hey, if you want a copy just drop us a comment or message and we’ll see what we can do, and angels, these great wounds will heal.

7-45pm Chelsea Vs Barcelona
9-45pm Andy "Bleeding Hands" Hughes
10-15pm The Klappers

The last few gigs The Romance have played have been £8 - £10 and here we are offering entry for just £2 NUS / £3 other. As always an Indie night to boot after the bands. Thanks for not deleting this x

Woah... that's quite a move! Yeah I'm off to Belfast on a break with a couple of mates, so couldn't resist playing at the same time! I've heard the Rotterdam is a cool little place actually! I've heard Belfast has a good scene!

Just stuck in Brum at the mo, waiting to play a gig here this evening, then off to London tomorrow!

Hope you had a great time on your jollies. Mine seems like a life time ago, it was back in May :(
Am preparing for the stresses of Freshers week at the mo, but the pay at the end is always worth it.
I'm gutted that I can't come and hear your beautiful performances anymore, so I guess I'll just have to settle for the CD! LOL!!!
It'll go straight on the ipod and then boxed away for safe keeping. Just let me know where to send the cheque!
The Manchester music scene is buzzing as always, I'm loving it. The Pipettes are visiting Manchester next week and me and my girls are going to see them, woohoo!
Hope you're well
