If you are checking us out for the first time or maybe dropping by because you heard some rumors about The Living Room. Let me share a little about us. We are a group of people who take very seriously, the call of Jesus on our lives to be a different kind of people in the world. We believe with great passion that God has not abandoned us or has given up on the world. We believe that God has begun to restore the world that he created. We believe that Jesus conquered death and left an open tomb and is inviting people to be in relationship with him. He is also inviting us to join him in this restoration process. And so for us, God’s story, we see first and foremost in the scriptures, and so when we gather, we look to God’s story in the bible, and we ask the question, what’s going on in the story and what can we learn from it so we can take it and live it out in our daily lives. We believe God is continuing to write his story each day in people’s lives as they invite him to begin restoring their lives through his love for us, his forgiveness, and with his strength. And in him we discover purpose and fulfillment for our lives.

We believe with great passion that we are called to serve our city, because we believe we should make a difference in the community that we love and live in. We gather together during the week in home groups and at our church, where we build life-long friendships with others that have the same desire to love, care and serve each other. We have lots of parties where we eat together and share life. We believe that God wants us to celebrate the life we have been given so we look for ways to have fun together with our church family.

We invite you to join us in a relaxed atmosphere, and come as you are while you check us out. We don’t act like church in the way you may know it. We think it’s all about real people, together asking real questions, seeking a real God that loves and cares about each one of us and what happens in our daily lives. So come and visit one of our Sunday celebration events where we sing, meet people, share coffee and goodies, and explore God’s story and how it might play out in our lives as we love and serve him.
