The first promotion was in 2004 and The Living Room still inhabits the atmospheric cellar where it all began.
The Living Room is part of the portfolio of Hope Street Music which includes......running The Living Room stage at Secret Garden Party, running stages at Cambridge Folk Festival and Cambridge’s Strawberry Fair (Europe’s biggest free festival); hosted an acoustic stage at the UK Festival Awards at Islington Carling Academy; club nights; one-off promotions of major artists/bands; facilitating recordings for up-and-coming artists/bands; hosting and producing a weekly radio show broadcast on Cambridge 105fm; funding and recording The Living Room compilation albums; artist management.
The Living Room is normally held on the first Friday of each month. Artists and bands who wish to play should send us a link to their music together with a bio.
