BIOGRAPHY

From the Diary of Elliot Discopie:

" ...The way it was told to me by my grandfather, was that, the original lmnop was formed from the ruins of Bridgtown cathedral in 1908. The wood, stone and iron was then re-forged and tinned through the summer by a Dr Moses. The first batch given lmnop title was used by the Spanish government in a secret experiment. The details would come out years later but it seemed the sorrowful sounds produced were used to induce pregnancy in soldiers. Over the years the original lmnop is thought to have been replaced by a replica (The Nazis!). Now, in the near future, the public need for ideas that relate to climate change and atomic weapons has lead to the secret resurfacing of the line-up. Nobody can be sure of their number but geologists estimate it to be less than 6 figures, an integer and very likely prime. All that can be said is that they are evil and can not be trusted!..."

So, if you're reading this the chances are you've no Glasto ticket....

All however, is not lost!

Saturday Night at The Queen's will be showcasing some of the areas finest songwriting performers and we can guarantee it won't be a wash-out.

Starting with the return of the beautiful sounds of Mike Bethel's haunting folk, and concluding with a first SNATQ for the fabulous KTB, we're exceedingly pleased with a bill which also sees The Love Child Acoustic coming back with more of their melodic and engaging tunes.

So come on down. With a full menu served till 9, and great music start to finish, it will be one of the finest free entry gigs you'll get to see.

Keep good now.
