The Loaded Whispers are creative collective which formed in Dublin Ireland in 2004 comprising of Syd Lane and Jeremiah James. Syd Lane is the driving force behind the band writing, arranging, recording, and performing all of the music. Jeremiah James is a poet who joined Syd when she started creating melodies around his words.
In October 2008, The Loaded Whispers got to open for Mercury Rev. To date, Syd has remained a recluse preferring to write and record songs in her home studio than play many gigs.

Every once in a while a record lands in your life and blows you away. This is one of those records - an intelligent and heartfelt collection of folk-psychedelics, with songs that will linger in your mind like ghosts long after they have played. Dublin's THE LOADED WHISPERS are probably as great as lo-fi musicians get, combining the brilliant poetry of Jeremiah James and the unmistakeable mind-blowing voice of Syd Lane, over fuzzy stripped-back psych guitar and dancing piano keys. "Artists Use Lies To Tell The Truth" is a perfect introduction to what they do, with so many stand-out tracks that all you can do is let the record play out from beginning to end. And that really is the truth.

hey i heard you guys on the radio, well done.... was only a matter of time till yous received some public recognition.... i am playing a single launch in radiocity on the 26th of september with a band i have been playing with for a few weeks....so i am just spreading the word really... hope yous can make it.... gimme a shout when you guys are playing live in dublin next.....
