John A. Stuper hails from St. Louis, MO., however he was raised in the greater Hudson area. Similarly, Jill Strahan was born in Plymouth, MI the outskirts of Detroit but made the exodus with her kin at the age of three, migrated to the coast of West Pasco and mutated into a Hudsonite. The Local Yokals met in the neighborhood of Hudson beach. The stars aligned just right one hot, fateful, late summer evening and so was the genesis of their relationship as well as their partnership in music. They share several of the same interests, mainly music and boating. They enjoy singing covers, and collaborating on their orignal songs. The subjects of their originals are autobiographical, about past lovers, the loss of friends, and the changing face of thier home and neighborhood.
