The Loft is an all ages venue located at 149 Waubesa St. in Madison, WI. For constant show updates GO TO www.myspace.com/journeymusic and ADD US! You can also check www.thejourneymusic.com for upcoming shows.
The reason for creating this page is because The Loft no longer has a myspace page. Steve, who booked a ton of shows at The Loft has moved most of his booking to Milwaukee and has a new page (www.myspace.com/fuckthatnoise). This Loft page is the only one on myspace for the venue in Madison, WI and is being maintained by Tom Klein of The Journey Music, however, this page will have ALL of the shows going on at The Loft. To add a show to our calendar...simply email us!
BOOKING INFORMATION:
LOCAL BANDS
If you are a local band (this means from the Madison metro area, not Milwaukee, not Chicago, not Minneapolis, etc) with a proven track record of drawing in an all ages environment, we encourage you to email us about our "live & local showcases" This is the only way you can get a foot in the door and be considered as an opener for a national tour.
REGIONAL BANDS
If you are a regional band, it is impossible for us to book you with our overhead unless we have seen an INCREDIBLY high, UNSOLICITED demand from our customers. In this situation, we will most likely reach out to you. If I seem blunt, that is because we want to be real with you and not send you on a goose chase. There are plenty of smaller venues and promoters in Madison and Milwaukee to accommodate your request.
NATIONAL BANDS
If you are a national band, please have your agent or management contact us. Please note that we generally only accept booking requests for Friday through Sunday dates.

is the Greeley estates an fftl show at the loft or majestic? because on from first to last's page it says the loft but when you click on that show date it says 115 king st, which is the majestic. ??

You guys should take The Ready Set off your list of bands playing on September fifth. When I noticed his tour dates conflicted with this, I commented him, and he told me he'll be in a mall in NJ, not the Loft.
