The Logicals formed at the start of 2005 and quickly developed into one of Manchester most respected yet unsigned bands. Frequently headlining the central Manchester venues such as MOHO, Night & Day and Academy 3. In 2007 and 2008 the momentum built up for The Logicals logistical steam train with tour support slots with Alabama 3, Dodgy, Four Day Hombre, Jersey Budd and The Rifles. They are schedule to play with The Blockhead and OCS in December 2009 and January 2010 respectfully.
The Logicals showed how they were up for the challenge of raising the crowd for these acts but also regularly prove to be top class headliners in their own right. The quality of this band is such that Manchester legends like Denise Johnson (Primal Scream/Electronic/HEY - who laid down vocals for an early independent single "Going Down") and Aziz Ibrahim have collaborated with the guys. Aziz has joined The Logicals for some memorable nights at Moho in Manchester where performances of "Sympathy No More", "Looking at You" and Ian Brown numbers "Corpses" and "My Star" (products of Mr Brown and Aziz's writing partnership) threatened to blow the roof off the already legendry club.
The band consists of four guys who have a wide spectrum of influences and experience. The Logicals have used this to their advantage and have produced well-structured and memorable songs. Their stage presence oozes professionalism with songs that allow audiences to feel comfortable in the presence of new material.
