Like an unhinged jazz composer and his ragtime band on a mission to rework Vivaldi into a 90s pop song, The Lonely Brothers bring together warming strings and soulful harmonies into folky, unforgettable, fun music that takes you back to your favourite barefoot shenanigans. With a repertoire of heartfelt, mercurial songs which hop merrily within the margins of folk, jazz, classical, blues and contemporary roots, their music is a hymn to the unpredictability of the everyday.
The Lonely Brothers have been bouncing around WA of late, sharing the stage with the likes of Paul Kelly & The Stormwater Boys, The John Butler Trio, Carus & The True Believers, Paul Greene & Rob Hirst, Loren & The Grow Your Owns, Freya Hanly and Double Entendre. They've also played at Fairbridge Folk Festival, Nannup Music Festival, Perth International Arts Festival, West Coast Blues & Roots Fringe Festival and Albany's Harboursound Festival. Watch out for their debut EP 'Maybe You Can Remember' (2007).
"I like it when they play the Brian song!" Poppy, fan (age 5)
"The Lonely Brothers are an affable cloud of musical wonder on a biscuity base dipped in moist melodies that make my insides happy" Rose, boffin
Rootsy Adelaide Trio Alias & The Jams are kickin’ off the Winter WA Tour with the release of their self titled Debut EP from the 7th - 28th June.
Jam’in out tunes over the West Coast, to increase awareness about Carbon Neutral and raise money for Trees For Life.
One effective way we can combat greenhouse gas emissions is to plant trees. Going carbon neutral is an easy way that we can all contribute to a solution by taking responsibility for the carbon dioxide emissions we create with our cars, airplanes and energy use.

The event will start in New Zealand at 8pm local time. We will follow 8pm around the world with artists participating throughout Australasia, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas.
