Born in the sunny September of 1985, I am Pulkit Sachdeva aka PhoeniX. I love to see people dance, dance to my
music, dance to my heartbeat, share what I feel. And what I feel, I let it out through a myriad of sounds. Come
share my vision with me. Let's embark upon this journey into sound, together.
A little bit about the tracks here now:
Rudraksha (Demo extract)
Genre: Goa Trance
Rudraksha, in it's literal sense means "The eye of Rudra". Rudra is an early avatar of Lord Shiva (As mentioned)
and according to some writings it is believed that Shiva Himself shed a tear upon seeing the misfortune of humanity,
and this single tear turned into a Rudraksha tree, and thus a sign of His compassion.
I had a lot of fun composing and mixing this track in particular as the chords strike my emotional levels and
clearly express a spiritual vision. Secondly, I love the aggressive undertones in it. Also, prior to making this, I
had been dabbling around for a while in various other genres like Nu Skool Breaks, Progressive, Techno etc. and this
was a "full" Goa sound after what can be considered a potential break from this genre.

Cerebral Orgasm (Demo extract)
Genre: Psytrance
This is basically where I tried to fuse elements of Goa into a typical, retro Psy struct. There was a lot of effort
involved in making this especially considering the number of automation patches used. But it wasn't heart-breakingly
difficult, rather it was too much fun playing with the various knobs! The best part of this track, in my opinion,
would be the wild plays on the TB303's.

Aamrah (Full length version)
Genre: Psybient
This is a relatively newer genre for me and I'm still studying it. But one thing's for sure - I love it!
About Aamrah now. Aamrah is a vision I had... Of a female "energy".
Dark, damp cavern... Sitting there without hope on the verge of collapsing. A haunting atmosphere. And suddenly in
the dark, streaks of red, blue and purple lights. Moving like a fluid they morph into hair, and a beautiful woman
then. Her face is hidden. But her skin is tempting... Irresistible and dangerously so. She walks and I follow... My
only hope... Or just an urge? She turns around... And disappears. At that moment, more than anything in the world,
I wanted her... Back.
This song, a mixture of several emotions, starts off a little quiet and builds slowly and gradually. The intro is
slightly long-ish.
ColliXion - PhoeniX vs. Tempestuous G (Demo extract)
Genre: Goa Trance
This is a collaborative effort by Tempestuous G (a fine Goa artist and a dear friend) and I, resulting in a
psychotic old skool-ish ColliXion. This took a lot of time and we kept exchanging files over the internet
because neither of us was satisfied with the energy it had in its initial state.
I am, personally, very pleased with the evolution of it's sound and I thank TG for making this what it is by
participating in this collab. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

Hmm.. well you know that movie I gave a poor review to at 1am-mediaforums - "Idiocracy"... come to think of it, I think you and Pero would feel it was hilarious. In the far off future there's this TV show called OWW MY NUTS and every episode is just this guy getting ambush kicked in the sack.
Sorry.. it's no fun to kick someone in the nuts if they requested it! In fact... there's something seemingly wrong with that. I will remind you though.
