  • Bio

Five strangers from the Triangle have joined forces to create one of the most diverse and grounded alt-country outfits in years. Built around the original songs of two local singer-songwriters, The Lonesome Departed is steeped in the tradition of folk-rock music while served on a bed of southern twang. Pedal steel, banjo, piano, guitars, and bass provide a satisfying gumbo of rich sound. These songs can travel from traditional to ethereal in a matter of seconds. .. .. .. ...... .. .. .. .. ..MyGen.. ..Profile Generator.. ..

    Howdy Partners,
New music has been added up top: Sarah's "Porchlight Lament" and a new version of "Lost But Not Forgotten". Hope you dig it.

I toggled on "Two Shots." Next thing you know I had my Kentucky Bourbon on the table... soon after I had stripped down to nothing but a pair of boots and a ten gallon hat... I woke up in a puddle of urine and Ryan Adams was on the stereo.

Ahhh I can't. I'm actually going to Charlotte later that week.

I'll def try to make another one by the end of the year though. By that time you'll have more experience on stage & it'll be better, haha.
