Pete "Droopy Drawers" Johnson - Guitar/Vocals
Pete is a hot blues/rock guitar hero! Drawing from the styles of Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Lee Hooker, and Jimi Hendrix, Pete attacks his guitar with relentless fury, while still exhibiting his own style and creativity. He rocks, he's bluesy, he drops jaws with his guitar solos, and he does a mean Michael Jackson dance!
Eric "2funky" Shears - Bass
Eric is a 4-string thudstick funk train! Eric's main influences are Louis Johnson, Mike Watt, James Jamerson, and Flea, and he brings an unheard of amount of funk and originality to his bass lines (and sometimes bass solos!). Does he play simple quarter root notes? Hell no!
"Dirty" Dan Johnson - Drums
Dan is a rock thundergod! Dan cites John Bonham and Neil Pert as his lofty influences. As Pete's older (and better looking) brother, he brings The Longnecks together with his tight, rock-and-roll drum grooves. Check him out as he lays down the law in his laid back style. Right on!
The Longnecks are a 3-piece original rock band from Spokane, WA. Drawing from rock, blues, funk, and soul, The Longnecks are making waves around the local scene with their energetic shows featuring blazin' guitar rock and shake-your-ass funk.
Lead by guitar virtuoso, Pete "Droopy Drawers " Johnson, The Longnecks play straight-up rock, raunchy blues, smooth soul, and skanky funk...sometimes all in the same song! Pete has been praised by local blues aficionados as an amazing, young blues guitarist...and when they get their rock-your-socks-off groove on, watch out for funky bass solos by band "elder" Eric Shears and the skanky fills by drummer Dan Johnson...this is when they are at their best!
Our tour kickoff show is on Friday at the BLVD w/ Cyrus Fell Down & Space Age Fur @ 6pm and we'd love for you to be there. This is our last Spokane show for a while and we will be playing 2 new songs so we're trying to make it a special night. Hope to see you there!

Hey The Longnecks
It's been a while, we're coming through Spokane this Friday, May 23rd at the BLVD. Hope you can make it out and party with us.
Also, tickets for the 8th Annual Flowmotion Summer Meltdown Festival are on sale now. They go up in price on May 27th. We'll have tickets at the show if you want to come down and get a few at the discount price.

We're playing with Space Age Fur and The Pop Eccentric. Two Of our favorite local bands. If you come we promise they'll be yours too.
I'll be the eager peanut butter in a greasy rhythm and blues sandwich tonight at Empyrean. Come be bananas! I'm playing about a 45-minute set in between the finger-licking-good Zac Fairbanks and the Booze Fighters (think Stevie Ray Vaughan without the beer gut) and perennial bar-rock/blues favorites the Longnecks.
Plus, it's Inlander cheap beer night.
