The Rummager, seminal noise rock drummer (Velvet Monkeys, Half Japanese, B.A.L.L., Gumball, Dinosaur jr.) is back with a new project and is ready to rock the nation. Its back to the basics, no pretensions no nothing, just straight forward rock and roll.
Joined by his compadres Red (Sugarhed) and Josh (The Virus) they are ready to rock your town.
The Lookies hail from Harrisburg, PA home of TMI and thats about it! The Lookies have released a 5 song self entitled ep on their own RedRum label, a 7" on Zodiac records and a full length Record is due in the summer. Worlwide distribution is available through Cargo once released.
The Lookies are currently playing gigs on the East Coast and are planning a European tour soon.
A Short History
Red and Rum began working together as the Excitement Brothers in a techno-hard rock hybrid called Original Blend in early 2003. They start thinking about their future and decide, Its got to be about the rock! They start practicing and recording demo tracks while stumbling on the greatest rock and roll show around. Our main man Josh joined the mix and what a perfect combination. The Lookies as we know them were born.
Reflections of this countrys pre-occupation with sex, violence, and monetary greed.
