"Peaktime laser fire and wicked energy. What a way to fly the new flag for The Loops of Fury. Quality, quality, quality! 5/5 ***** " [InTheMix Magazine]
The Loops of Fury are a brand new signing to U&A in 2009.
Two Brisbane boys, previously known as Hyperion, reborn under a new banner, with a mighty sound that perfectly encapsulates their own personal ELECTRO-TECHNO Manifesto. Imagine the Chemical’s Battle Weapons mashed up with the turbo-charged drive of Marco Bailey or Brodinski capped off with the production skills of a Dyson or a Gartner and you’d be in the right ballpark for the Loops’ take-no-prisoners sound.
"I think along with Boys Noize's ‘Jeffer’, ‘Flick The Switch’ is probably the best electro tune I've heard so far this year..." [Squeaky Bleeps Magazine]
Their debut single hit the Top 3 on Beatport and spent no less than three months in the Top 100, and since then demand has soared, with a succession of shows across their native Australia leaving moshpits quaking & foundations shaken. Label boss Elite Force felt highly enough of them to entrust his U&A imprint first ever compilation to them, and they somehow managed to bring many of the diverse strands of this eclectic & boundary-pushing label together in a seamless mix that is ‘Tech:Funk’ (U&A Recordings Vol.1).
"They literally just blew the jam off my toast. Magic. 5/5" [i-DJ Magazine]
With not one, but two follow-up singles already slated for release on U&A for early 2010 (the first ‘SOAP’ with remixes from Hatiras and Peo De Pitte), a series of high profile remixes and a number of key summer festival shows in the pipeline, the future couldn’t look brighter for The Loops of Fury.
LATEST RELEASE OUT NOW!
A mix compilation from U&A Recordings has been on the cards for some time now. With a burgeoning reputation as one of the most exciting, eclectic & visionary labels in the electronic firmament, it was only a matter of time before some of the many highlights from the catalogue to date appeared in time-honoured DJ mix fashion. In keeping with the label's ethos of developing new, young talent, mix duties were handed over to emerging superstars, The Loops of Fury, who have taken some of the finest tracks to appear on the label to date as well as exclusives from The Loops & Zodiac Cartel and dropped the perfect blend of electro-techno, perfectly encapsulating the sound of U&A.
"The Loops of Fury have crafted a mix that not only puts the talent of U&A on display, but it also epitomises the absolute quality that this label outputs from month to month and year to year. An absolute must buy." [InTheMix Magazine]
The compilation is available on CD from our very own brand new online store, and we have deliberately priced these at the lowest end of 'mid-price' we could afford, and have included P+P in the cost so you know there are no hidden extras!! It's not often we make a foray into the world of physical products these days, so please support our efforts and snag a copy today.
The compilation is also available on DIGITAL (exclusive to Beatport until 4th December), again at recession-busting prices, and includes single downloads of the exclusives from Zodiac Cartel & The Loops of Fury.

After
Kommander Keens first outstanding release on Giana-Brotherz-
Recordings, which was high ranked in the Breakbeat and Nu Disco
sale-charts and also played by lots of DJs around the world, like Greg
Kozo (Make the Girl Dance) or Kissy Sell Out on BBC 1 radio, it's now
the time for the next strong output. „Long time ago” is an
extraordinary electro-track with a pumping beat and a deep bassline,
that blows your mind. „Nu-Rave” in best „Old-Rave” -style! „RAWR!” is a
breakbeatlike dancefloor smasher that kicks you with a huge sawtooth
bassline!
