WE'VE DROPPED THE PRICE, BECAUSE THE SECOND ALBUM IS ON ITS WAY.
£6.00 (not £5.99 because that just annoys us).
The band released their debut CD in 2008 with 2 successful singles, animation and videos and their 3rd single, Roo Ba Bah, is planned for release this spring. This years digital distribution deal also saw them on the front page of iTunes around the world. In France alone they got 5000+ hits in the first week.
They continue to tour the UK playing regular gigs in major cities and festivals, keeping an active presence from Dublin to London and from Glasgow to Bristol developing their ever-growing fanbase: Myspace 3300+, facebook 700+, and 1200+ subscribers to their maillng list. At this years Wickerman Festival, the band had the crowd bouncing through midnight.
Highly acclaimed 'Farida' guitars have recently used the band for endorsement alongside Oasis, Maximo Park and The Wombats, and the company has hailed them as '...one of the most exciting folk acts this country has produced in recent years'.
Having regular airplay and live sessions on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio 6, Xfm and other national stations, the loose kites are planning to release a 'BBC Live' album in the autumn of 2009. With their digital distribution deal, overseas interest is increasing and a recent stint in Ireland is being followed up with gigs and tours in Germany, Portugal, Spain and other parts of Europe.
