We're in Distorted magazine in England!!!
"If you've never seen The Loose Skrews, then I cant explain to you what you're missing, other than an Atlanta legacy. Over the years there have been some lineup changes but the heart and soul of the band has never been lost. This is the kinda punk rock that this city can be proud of and rally behind. Rotger's stage antics and helmet collection know no bounds. The addition of Hooper on guitar has added the strong rhythms needed to lay the ground work for Clay's leads. J.B. has for years been the rock solid backbone of the Skrews and with Gabe on the drums the combo is complete. Go see The Skrews, you wont regret it"
Darby/ATL Punx/Xcitement Magazine
The Loose Skrews have been playing their own brand of pub rock punk since 2003. Releasing their first CD "More Than a Few" on their own and appearing on compilations like the Foreign Object comp on Italy's Scarey Records, The Kamikaze Broadcast Volume 2 on England's No Front Teeth Records and Everybody Loves ANTiSEEN on TKO Records, has helped garner The Loose Skrews a gigantic and loyal following in the worldwide punk scene. The Loose Skrews were also featured on the Spring Broke punk DVD as well as on a 4-band split 7" release on ScatboyRecords.
The Loose Skrews have shared dates with some of the most popular names in the punk, Oi!, and hardcore scenes such as Agent Orange, aka:Rudie, All Or Nothing HC, Beerzone, The Business, Flatfoot 56, GWAR, NOFX, Michael Graves, Murphy's Law, Naked Aggression, Retching Red and Run Like Hell.
The Loose Skrews released their 2nd CD "Have Another Brew" in 2006, which featured 17 more beer-soaked party anthems, fused with full throttle street punk. In 2008, The Loose Skrews regrouped with a better, more committed lineup and released their 3rd CD "Born To Lose" on OTF Records. "Born To Lose" signifies the end of the old era and the beginning of a new, more highly focused band. The release of "For Those Hearts True", our 4th CD, in August 2009, showcases what a band containing three generations of punk rockers can achieve, our best record to date. The Loose Skrews will continue to build their name with a DIY punk as fuck attitude and a live show straight out of the early 1980's. No politics or preaching, just a damn good time. Come on out!!!
