The Lovehandlers are a four piece rock act that has combined real Detroit edge with British indie rock to create a truly unique sound. The band was formed in the winter of 2006 by guitarist/singer Ryan Hoger and drummer Julian Anderson. The band soon picked up Jack Whaley (guitar) and Nick D’Agostino (bass). While focusing on writing original material, the band has also continued to keep themselves busy with shows ranging from the State Theater and The Magic Stick to private parties and smaller local venues. As the Detroit News has stated, “What band can say they played their first show at the State Theater? The Lovehandlers.” Although the members of The Lovehandlers are young, they each bring extensive past experiences to the band. Jack Whaley and Julian Anderson both graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy. Ryan Hoger has played at the State Theatre three times, and has also been featured on FOX 2 as well as The Mitch Albom Show. All members have been playing with gigging bands professionally since age 14.

First of all, i can't go to your show on sunday because my dumbass co-worker took the entire week off to go on vacation. Therefore, i HAVE to work.

so i just listened to all of the new songs, and they sound so fucking amazing. You were right, they do sound a lot better than the rough copies. They are so awesome and i am so excited to come to your next show!
