The Lovesick Cowboys are a Leeds based group that aim to bring to life the late 40s early 50s era Americana by playing Country, Western Swing, Bluegrass, Roots, Honky Tonk, Gospel, Blues and early Rock & Roll. The group plays many songs by Hank Williams alongside a selection of traditional american folk music and other artists such as Elvis, Jonny Cash, Jimmie Rodgers, Roy Acuff & Kitty Wells. We are starting work on album that will go out through the Yadig? record label as well as hoping to fill our diary with gig dates, welcoming anybody who may want to book us for 2010 and beyond. Please feel free to have a look at our website www.thelovesickcowboys.co.uk or drop us a line about bookings.
