The Loving Its formed in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the summer of 2005. Two friends returned from the pub one night to find themselves awake, bored and armed with a piano, a guitar, a computer and a bunch of original songs.
By the next night they had recorded their first song - "Tea For Others" - and over the next four weeks wrote and recorded the rest of the album - "The Best Thing You Did Today".
The Loving Its are from Cornwall, UK and consist of just three members - Lee (vocals, guitar, drums & production), Joey (vocals, piano and everything else), and Stefan the laptop.
The album is a quirky, ironic, fun, eclectic mix of happy songs which gives an honest, tongue in cheek look at life with a sense of humour. Listen to it and love it. And please spread that love.
Sadly, The Loving Its no longer make music together but you can download the album in its entirety and completely free, here: www.thelovingits.com

We're playing Metal Hammer's "GET IN THE RING" at the London Hammersmith Palais on March 6th. It's a Rockworld TV gig in assosiation with XFM. and we're playin in a boxing ring. Thats about all we know, but its gonna be an absolute fookin riot..... there's 3 other bands on too.
The night is invite only (but it's free) and apparently you need a password to get a ticket. However, we've been asked to invite 150 of our 'crazies' to come cheer us on.....
Soooooo, if you're hard enough, and you fancy it, send an email to getmeinthering@btinternet.com and we'll let you know how to get your mits on a ticket.
