  • Bio

"Their melodies are languorous, weepy, and full of melancholy twang, and I believed each wailing second"- Niina Pollari, Jezebel Music. .... We play our own kind of country song, rooted in our histories with rural, working-class and union families, but tied together by our day-to-day experiences of city life. Without a doubt, the main influence on our sound is traditional country music. So we tip our hats to Nashville and Austin, but keep our feet planted in NYC. We sing and play with much love to Juan dos Pistoles, Nao, Donna, & Jason. Check out the Juan and the Pines, and the Union Street Preservation Society!
