Like musical alchemists, The Lucky Punch have forged a name for themselves in the underground rock’n’roll scene since 1997. Their varied, old school rock’ sound – deeply influenced by the wildest bands of the 60s & 70s – strikes a refreshingly different chord in the nowadays rock scene and the Lucky Punch have proven their musical chops while sharing the stage with such scene greats as Monster Magnet, Motorhead, the Hellacopters and the Hives.
This Munich four piece developed their energetic and skilled showmanship through playing shows and touring in Germany, Sweden, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Austria sharing the stage with many of the scene’s luminaries, the Flaming Sideburns among others.
As the first German rock band to tour China, they enjoyed a successful three week tour to insanely receptive crowds. Their new recording “Join our Cruise” shows they’ve found their own unique style and sound, far removed from the common musical clichés pandemic in the scene. This new material demonstrates a wide range of influences from classic blues to infernal rock’n’roll, with higher caliber composition skills that will get your adrenalin flowing and your heart racing. The Lucky Punch stand ready and waiting to rock your stages!
Los Lucky Punch se han ganado una buena reputación en la escena underground del rock and roll tras su álbum de debut „Kick Up A Hullabaloo“. Sus temas, muy variados y con una nota old school, están influenciados por grupos legendarios de los 60 y los 70, y su sonido destaca entre la mayoría de grupos de rock de la escena actual.
Los Lucky Punch han convencido al público como teloneros de grandes grupos como Monster Magnet, Motörhead, Hellacopters o The Hives. Varios tours con, entre otros, los Flaming Sideburns en Alemania, Suecia, , España, Francia, Suiza y Austria han contribuido a madurar la puesta en escena llena de energía del cuarteto de Munich. Finalmente, tras el lanzamiento de su segundo álbum “Join Our Cruise“ en diciembre del 2005, Lucky Punch es el primer grupo alemán de gira por China durante tres semana. La documentación de este tour, filmada ilegalmente, se puede ver en YouTube.
En su actual álbum „Yield To Temptation“, el cuarteto alemán demuestra que ha encontrado su propio e individual estilo, lejos de los clichés actuales. Los temas van desde el blues clásico hasta el más puro rock, tocando así la fibra de cualquier auténtico roquero. Lucky Punch vuelve ahora par atomar vuestros escenarios con más energía que nunca!
