We have played under several names in the past before recently deciding upon The Lugers. We play indie rock music with a strong melody and largely comprising of vocals, guitars, bass, drums, and keyboard.
We only play our own songs and have amassed a large amount, owing to the fact all members write their own. Recent gigs include The Pleasure Unit, Bethnal Green (Epiphany 02077290167). Previous gigs (under the name The Return) have included the Halfmoon, Putney (Carrie 02087809383), Vagabonds Acoustic Caf and various gigs in Colchester for Eye Five Productions.
Other credits to the band include recording the music for the play The Country (Dan 07803013971) performed in London and Cambridge in 2004. Our first recording, Porters Palace was also A listed by Radio Seagull in August 2004.
