    Playing in the local and Regional Scene for over 7 years now, Lunar Funk has built an amazing live show and a strong community of fans and festi family. People come to see Lunar Funk for their ever changing music and diverse sounds which consist if face meting musical peaks and booty shakin' funk beats, no two shows are ever alike, and they are truly adept at moving a crowd. You can sense their strong connection with each other when you hear the ever changing jams as they deftly take you through the story that the music unfolds. The loving atmosphere and uplifting lyrics bring a great mix of friends, fans, and family together to celebrate the journey of life and the long strange trip that it is. Lunar Funk has been making it's presence strongly known throughout the Midwest region by touring regularly and making a home of many of the greatest festivals the Midwest has to offer. Recently, Lunar Funk has gained national attention by being featured in Relix Magazine in the Up and Coming Section and continue to reinvent themselves in their many musical endeavors. Lunar Funk has a solid connection with their fans and thoroughly enjoys playing and interacting with them, and occasionally bringing them up on stage for a dance or two.


The original music and sound is a refreshing blend of many different styles as each memeber brings to the table their own unique musical vision. You can definitely hear some reggae, rock, blues, jam, funk, and hip-hop influences just to name a few.


From face melting musical peeks to booty shankin' funk beats, there is a little something for all music lovers in this bands large repertoire of diverst tunes!


So if you haven't been acquainted with this band and its following of freaky, furry, fuzzy, fun loving fans, now is a great time to jump on the funky bus and take a ride to the groove side!
