--------------------Review of "Posion Letter" from Artrocker
"Ramshackle Headcoats style garage rocking, replete with nice Farfisa style keyboards. They could teach The Black Flash a thing or two about proper garage rock. Sounds a bit like The Stairs and The Stones too - this is great - lots of spirit..."

Supporting The Chalets and The Hot Puppies, Leicester Music Café, 08/02/06
"The Lusts are great. Well, I mean, theyre bloody awful... but theyre great. Initially I think; what the hell is going on here? These idiots cant play their guitars properly and definitely cant sing.. all I can hear is a snare drum and noise. Then I chastise myself for thinking like that and momentarily going against all I believe; cos these kids totally wanna be the Ramones. Theyve taken learn 3 chords and form a band to heart, only they dont have a Joey, and they clearly cant be arsed with practice. So they sound kinda like the Replacements at their first rehearsal, only without the advantages of Paul Westerbergs songs or Bob Stimsonss guitar. This is stupid, sloppy teenage punk rock the way it should be done ; aimless, pointless, moronic, chaotic, snotty, noisy, funny, drunken and guaranteed to enrage any musician within earshot. They play for too long and they dont wreck enough stuff, but man, who cares you shoulda seen the girls jumping for joy at the front of the stage. Why didnt I have the guts to do this when I was 18?? Best band of the night."

Mama Shamone – THESE GUYS AREN’T PLAYING LIVE (except one acoustic) EXCEPT AT GLASTO FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR! http://www. myspace. com/mamashamone “Put Mama Shamone on at any venue and they are likely to take the roof off, this was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in years - certainly one of the best in London. In my opinion these guys are destined for greatness, it felt like I was witnessing history being shaped-something was just so right about what they were doing up there.” Vibe Bar
We Yes You No www. myspace. com/weyesyouno “We Yes You No sing about the end of the world, the end of everything. But in an apocalypse that would sound like this I would buy god’s last EP” – Big City Redneck
Language http://www. myspace. com/languageuk “"The verbosity of funk, the poetic twang of intelligent pop. The bridge between Franz Ferdinand and Smashing Pumpkins perhaps" – Bugbear
Cool. Told PJ that both you and us are definately up for the date in August. He says that Black Time's played there a lot and are quite often in the audience. They could play but he's gonna see what else comes up first. So the headliner is still open.
PJ at Dirty Water still wants us for August. Are you guys cool with that? Friday 15th August? Let us know so I can confirm with PJ. It's all there if we want it!
You're recording at Coldrice?! Sweeet! Is anyone going to release it or are you doing it all DIY? It would be so cool to record something together too... We're playing Dirty Water on 15th August but I'll message PJ just to make sure and see if he's thought of a headliner. If we can both have our albums ready for the show it'd be killer!
Wow! Sweet! Thanks a bunch!! I just got back from 6 weeks in Texas yesterday - now we're trying to record an album. Hopefully we can do something SOON! Can't wait for Dirty Water, gonna be mental!!!
