Heroes
My father, who's everything I or anyone could aspire to be in this lifetime: passionate, fierce, circumspect, compassionate, generous, uncompromising. My mother, too, for being generous of spirit and capable of tremendous sacrifice. Otherwise, Bruce Lee, William Blake, Jacque Tati, Toshiro Mifune, and Nichiren Daishonin all fit the bill.

About me: One can surely have too many blogs, but I don't suppose one can have to many profiles. After all, there are a lot of people out there with whom to keep up, and the powers that be know damn well that I never call, write, or visit.
The Lyamhound's a cuddly, grouchy cur growing like a 'shroom in the rainy environs of the Pacific Northwest. In addition to his day job (administrative assistant in an arts organization), he freelances as a music journalist & critic, teaches martial arts & physical theatre to at-risk youth, studies numerous martial arts, writes & acts in plays, and studies and practices Nichiren Buddhism. Oh, and he tends his marriage--as beautiful, turbulent, and transcendent as ever that institution should be--with all the artfulness and care his limited capacity allows.
You can certainly catch up with me on my other blog, and there's always this spot for a glance at the thoughts of myself or my fellow Buddhists. But here's as good a place as any to lift a virtual pint, n'est-ce pas?*
*Interestingly enough, lifting a pint is a decidedly Saxon tradition; after the Norman Invasion, wine vs. beer is how you discerned the Norman oppressor from the Saxon "working class" (more confusing than that, the Celts--my people--were equally despised by both camps, though they, like the Saxons, skewed towards hops). So my following a discussion of pints with so blatantly French (i.e., Norman) an expression as n'est-ce pas was either ironic, stupid, or stupidly ironic. As an American Celtic Buddhist with considerable wood for French cinema, my noetic loyalties are endlessly vague.
You scored as Very Kinky. You are very Kinky. Yuo are not over the top but you like kinky arousements and you are willing to try something new every time. You will make a very fun sex partner
You are Simon, the young, brilliant doctor. Your devotion to your sister drove you to part with the world you knew. Raised on a civilized planet, you are not used to coping with the situation you have landed yourself in - though you seem to be adapting well enough to suggest robbing a hospital. Take this quiz!
Who I'd like to meet: Willie Nelson, Nick Cave, Daisaku Ikeda, Billy Bob Thornton, Charlie Kaufman, Veit Helmer, Marc Caro, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Nils Frykdahl, Carla Kilstedt, Amanda Palmer, Takeshi Kitano, Blixa Bargeld, Peter Murphy, Jean-Luc Godard, Julian Cope, Juliette Binoche, and many others that I'm probably forgetting at the moment. Amongst those no longer with us, and therefore not available for meeting in this life, William Blake is at the top of the list, followed shortly by Toshiro Mifune, Giordano Bruno, Lao-Tzu, Shakyamuni, and Bruce Lee.
Oh, you mean here? Warriors. Dreamers. Seekers. Deviants. Mentors. Disciples. You'll know who you are.

Thought I'd check in and say hey - hope all's well!
I've just redisigned the myspace, had a photoshoot, created a youtube channel, made a banner you can use on your own page as well as a whole load of other I Have Clones related stuff - if you're interested head on to my page to check it out!
My Dance Gavin Dance remix is also now up on the page, if you haven't already heard it, I'd love to know what you think!
Don't forget that all my music is available to download completely free from my page...
=)
Also, I've still got some merch left, if you like the music and the designs have a look before they're gone!
Lastly if you're in the UK and promote shows, know someone who does, or are in a band and want to play a show with me this Summer hit me up!
So I’ve just uploaded a new tune - it’s called ‘Long Days, Late Nights’ and you can hear it on my page right now!
Having never written and recorded an entire EP all on my own before I was perhaps a little optimistic in thinking it’d be ready for the end of August; it is nearly done, just not quite yet!
The new tune is going to be the last song on the EP - I think it has that kinda melancholy vibe, but I'd love to know your thoughts..
I love the added slideshow...but I still wish I could get out to see the REAL you! (hmmm...maybe Spring Break...have to plan ahead, I'm not rich :) Seattle's really not THAT far, I truly have no excuses...
