| General | My main interest is of course my webcomic, The Vanguard
Other interests include drawing in pencil and ink, reading, computers, specifically the Apple Macintosh, reading sci-fi space opera, webcomics, print comics, and most programs on the Discovery and History channels. | | Music | Mainly soft rock and pop from the 80s. My favorite artists from that time period include Elton John, Billy Joel, Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson and Sting. | | Movies | Recent movies include superhero movies like Superman Returns, all three X-men titles, Fantastic Four and Ghost Rider. Also sci-fi space opera movies like Star Wars episodes 1-6, and most of the Star Trek movies (except Star Trek 5-what were they thinking with that one??)
I also enjoy a good action-adventure shoot-em-up blow-em-up kick-the-crap-outta-'em movie. I'm looking forward to the new James Bond, for example... | | Television | My favorites are most programs on the History, Discovery and National Geographic channels, especially Dirty Jobs (Mike Rowe is HIlarious), Modern Marvels, Mail Call, and Seconds from Disaster.
I also enjoy some shows on the Sci-Fi Channel, like Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, the new Doctor Who, and Eureka. I also like some of the HBO dramas like The Wire, The Sopranos, and Deadwood.
I've also renewed my interest in Smallville, probably the best show in broadcast TV (but I may be biased, seeing as the show's about Superman's adventures before the blue jammies and cape) | | Books | Too many Star Wars and Star Trek novels to name. Also many comics from the DC and Marvel lines. Also the occasional Apple Macintosh How-To book. |

About me:
I'm a male, 40 years old, living in Philadelphia, PA. I'm married, with three stepkids. I work in Network Support at a major business phone and Internet Service Provider, and my major hobby (and hopefully source of side income) is my superhero sci-fi comic, 
Think of it as my answer to the question "What if a Justice League-like superhero group operated from a large starship in a Federation/Republic-type galaxy?" Think of it as superhero sci-fi action.
