Business is the salt of life. Best example is the young and dedicated Mario, born in Austria. With hard work and a strongness he reached to play on several big name festivals, for example the well known Budapest Parade.
But back to the roots : End of 2004 he was listening a set played by Ben Long. That was the moment changing his life. Mario aka The MAdox realized how much energy flows in this kind of music and he knew he needs to start playing music too...
At the same time The Madox started an event agency together with Michael Wohlkönig called Sunshine Events. So very soon after he started djing he played on several of his own events. Sunshine Event became to one of the most successful agencies in Austria
For The Madox the music is more than playing on gigs. It’s about having fun with music, dancing and to share this feeling with others. Everybody who knows him personally knows that he is a real party- animal!
And it’s the same with him behind the decks…it’s a mixture of fun, passion and feelings he wants to share with the crowd always! Electronic music is a “place”, where people come together and enjoying that feeling and the sound.
Melodies mixed with hard tribal techno are the main characters of his style. For him it’s the effect button, which makes the sound “real” alive=) Echoes, Delays and filters are the true friends of a dj…
For The Madox its important to feel his work. That’s why he is playing with vinyl.
Vinyls are the roots of the dj ‘s and for him important.
Soon after his start in that dj business he got booked international in countries such as Slovenia and Hungary. Specially in Slovenia the crowd felt connected to his own sound and him as a person.
After three years the dream of all newcomer djs became true, he was the first time booked as a headliner. His motivation grew and he felt approved in what he’s doing.Today The Madox is requested in all countries all over Europe and his way has just began.In October 2008 he got the chance to play at a Kne’deep Night at Tresor Berlin.Dj Rush was impressed by his skills and the feetback of the crowd was amazing .For The Madox it was his most emotional gig he played so far.The Madox loves teamwork and so they try to create a new style. And here is a point were two styles come together :electronic melodies and hard techno-beats.
