.. Born from the twisted mind of Italian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mark Maension, who made Hollywood his home after leaving Italy in 2003. The Maension's Debut Ep "Introspection" was released in 2008 and their single "Lizard Eyes", was featured in a commercial aired on MTV, VH1 and Spike. The band received the prestigious Award for "Hollywood Rock Band of the Year" by the Los Angeles Music Award in 2008. In 2009 their talent earned them a nomination for Rock Artist of the Year and started touring the country extensively, sharing stage with such bands as Mudvayne, Head PE and Non Point. National and international critics are acclaiming the originality, quality and depth of their music as well as their edgy image and stage presence. Heavy, dynamic, ambient at times, a bit prog and always dark, with enticing melodies and powerful lyrics, they blend togheter different influences into a unique new sound that is their tradmark.
