The Magnus Project began thus: In the Spring of 2005, Max(formerly known in the electronica movement as Maxx Vaxx), who had been working on his own new music since September 2004, at a studio he built for an acquaintance in the desert of San Bernardino. Having needed to stretch out a bit more, Max invited his former protege, Timothy White, whom he had taught how to DJ several years before, to come up to the studio to hang out. The beauty of Synchronicity was evident when Tim let Max know he was just starting to get into sequence writing with loops on Reason. Delighted at hearing Tim's new music, Max decided to ask Tim to come on board as student/partner in a new musical endeavor which has yielded terrific results ever since. The most amazing aspect of this partnership was not only how quickly Tim learned from Max(again!), but the strong bond of friendship these two had formed.
Tim went on to DJ in major nightclubs everywhere after tutelage from Max.

Hey The Magnus Project, I see your love in love. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. Come, let me suckle your fingers that I may absorb and lose myself in the wise and beautiful starlight that is you. Your beauty is multiplexed in contemplation of your multidimensional effervescence. Polished rock candy comes ever to mind when thinking of you. What wonderful vibrations you are capable of. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. How beautiful is the snowshine in your eyes, so directly current from the static in your mind. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. How long must I suffer with your undergarments? Entranced by the sweet harmony of your lips, I gaze beyond reason to find the oasis of your brilliant soul. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. You turn the atmosphere ablaze with currents of sweet ethylene when you smile.
Hi there The Magnus Project first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't loose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
