Influences(ok, so we never update this anymore, but you get the drift - see the daily blog at www.themajestictwelve.com/culture to find out what's currently occupying our attentions) - LAST WEEK we listened to: West Indian Girl, Indoor Life, Woodpussy, Morningwood (with no apologies whatsoever to all the hipper-than-thou indie cranks), Chomsky, Son Of A Gun, Violent Society, Homer + Jethro, Johnny And Jack "Love Problems", Cocteau Twins "Aikea-Guinea", East River Pipe, Sugarloaf ~~~ THE WEEK BEFORE: The Blue Nile, The Mentors, Bjork, Avenue Q soundtrack, The Ramones, The Goblins, Blink 182, The Maines Brothers Band, Kid With Man Head (Dead Bird! I'd just like to point out that on Walnut Street in Philadelphia a store recently opened (my friend sent me a picture of their veneer) that is called "Pandora's Lunch Box." I thought that rocked.
I'll go there, for sure, and I'll be sure to ask them for the score at the candy store, if ya know what I mean!
