Growing up on the same street in Oxnard, California, Dunn (Daniel Cabral) and Lazo (Alexander Hernandez) got in the hip hop game ten years ago. Their experience in the streets has led them from state wide rap battles and corner block ciphers, to live performances with groups, such as, Paul Wall, Down and The Beatnutz. The entertaining content of their raps have got them both T.V. and Radio airplay. Three years ago, Dunn and Lazo decided to step up their game and The Majors was formed.
After being in the studio the past year, The Majors recorded their first demo titled "Where Legends are Made". The songs were written to depict the group's unique yet versatile style of music. Influenced by their predecessors, such as 2 Pac, Notorious, and Big L, the demo takes you on a voyage starting with a Hyphy track, mixed with a club hit, and finalized with a street anthem. The songs were written to depict the group's unique yet versatile style of music. After the great response from fans, The Majors decided to get in the studio with legendary producer Fingazz of Streetlight Music to record their first radio single Wassup Wit It which is getting play now. With production from Fingazz, and Hollywood producers, Damon Thomas, Swoosh, Barbaryan Beats, The M.I.D.R.A.T.S., Jimmy Klev (Las Vegas), Frank E RED HOT BEATS (Denver), and Genuine Article (Oxnard). The Majors are currently working on their first album with an anticipated summer release date tentatively set. iTunes will be the official download site of the single on February 5, 2008.

Daniel Cabral was born and raised in Oxnard, California. Known around the neighborhood as Dunn, he started rapping at the age of 14. With a reputation as "A Lady's Man" he earned respect from the streets by producing tight beats, as well as, performing on the mic. Very savvy when it comes to the game, Dunn radiates everything a real hustler should be with street smarts, a slick tongue, and the voice to go with it. His smooth style and unique sound is inspired by artists such as Snoop and Jay-Z. Destined for fame, Dunn carries the weight of the hood on his shoulders. He is a strong believer in keeping it real and as the saying goes, "DON'T CALL HIM DUNN, ‘TIL HE'S FINISHED".

After losing his father at an early age, Lazo, (Alex Hernandez) was raised by his grandfather Miguel Collazo who served as a Sergeant Major in the Marines. He believed in Alex's dreams and taught him about life and how to overcome the challenges. Alex admired his grandfather and they shared a mutual respect for one another. In 1994, his grandfather passed and Alex decided to change his street name to Collazo and devote the rest of his life to achieving his dream of world wide recognition in the hip hop game. At the age of 25, he has experienced what would be the hard side of life but has persevered by writing lyrics and knocking out competition in battles. After 10 years of molding his flow, Lazo will definitely gain the attention and respect he deserves from the industry.

The Majors are currently in a production deal with First Rounder's Entertainment (FRE). The group is currently seeking a record or distribution deal with a Major or Independent Label .
