Malherbe is the artistname of the solo artist; Haakon Vatle from Stord, Norway (not far from Bergen).
I have been working with all kinds of music for several years, and have influences from all kind of music. In January 2006 I managed to get some of my own songs produced and recorded at BIT lydstudio in Bergen. Thanks to my producer and co-musician Bjorn Bunes (Poor Rich Ones, William Hut, Magnet, Morten Abel), the songs have become the way they are.
I have always found the fascination in the melancholic melodies, and I hope you will enjoy my songs.

Vil gjerne høyre livebildet sjølv:) så håpar det vert konsertar utover hausten ja! Når eg likar ein song som lèt bra på opptak, synest eg mest alltid det funkar live:) Men derimot om eg likar ein song live, kan den verta ganske så "feil" på opptak:)
Jepp, har bestemt meg for det no. Hadde vore bra å fått noko opp å gå på musikkfronten der òg ja. Så håpar eg sjå deg stagedive`e med solomusikken din snart! Skulle gjerne vore heime for 100dagarsfesten, men det er det som er kjipt med Gjøvik, håplaust plassert! God fest!
