About Tim Prosser the Mandolin Maniac

Lifetime musician, mother took me to her symphony orchestra rehearsals and performances before and after birth, played violin (and later viola) from age 5 to 15, played drums and percussion from an early age, picked up guitar at 12 and played lead guitar and bass in various bands until I was 26. Then came back to music at age 42 and it has just gotten better since. Check out the Martian Entropy Band (www.martianentropyband.com) to hear my last jazz rock band that broke up in 1975 - a crazy and fun venture. Also check out some of my recent projects at www.mandolinmaniac.com. Now working on new solo material as well as putting together a band under the name DSM (Damn Sexy Man) with Chris Hedley (member of the previous/original DSM - album available at CDbaby.com), Rachel Francese, Markus Nee of North, and Rick Carter.
