In a way, the Manor was formed over 6 years ago when members Marcos Mills (guitar/vocals) and Jonathan Lorenzo (keys/vocals) began writing music together in high school. Upon meeting Ruben Moore (drums) and Peter Zavitsanos (bass), they soon realized the musical potential that was present between the four of them and decided to officially name themselves "The Manor." After a successful first show with over 1,000 people in attendance the band was ignited with excitement. With this passion, they worked quickly to release a 5 song EP called Fine lines- a taste of what is to come. With infectious melodies, thought-provoking lyrics and insightful chord progressions, The Manor transcends many musical frontiers and in the process re-defines the boundaries of music.
Influences from the likes of The Beatles, The Fray, Paolo Nutini, Coldplay, U2 and John Mayer has helped The Manor to produce a sound that people in all age groups and styles can identify with while incorporating their own unique sound.
They are currently working on their debut album which will be available fall 2009.
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
