Label:..Funtime Records.. .. .. The Maple Room found its origin in 2004 and have been playing shows and tours non stop since then. With over 350 shows in Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Sweden, France, Germany, Portugal and China the band has built out a solid fanbase. The band put out its first full length 'Uncover Everyone' in March 2005 and the follow up 'A glimpse of the inside' was released in May 2007, both on Funtime Records (Benelux), Four Aces Records (UK) and Shave The Area Records (UK). Both albums have been a success for the band and got them to play and tour with Bullet for my Valentine, Alexisonfire, From Autumn to Ashes, Silverstein, Funeral for a Friend, Coheed and Cambria ... and festivals such as Groezrock, Graspop, Pukkelpop, Rockstar Taste of Chaos and many more. With their 3rd full length album 'Cities of hunger' the band has expanded its musical interest and boundaries. Did a supportshow for Break The Silence(us, Hopeless records) in Belgium in Sept 2005.. Did 2 supportshows for Alexisonfire (can) & Johnny Truant (uk) in Paris (fr) and Meerhout (be) in Oct 2005.. Did a soldout support show for Funeral for a Friend (uk) in the Netherlands in Nov 2005.. Toured Germany and the Netherlands with NME.MINE (ge, Eat the Beat/Roadrunner records Germany) in Oct 2005.. Played at the campingfest of the famous Groezrock festival in April 2005.. 3rd place at Limbomania popconcours in Dec 2005.. Did a supportshow for Aiden(us, victory records) in Belgium in February 2006.. Did 2 supportshows for Bullet for my Valentine (UK) & in the Netherlands (Amsterdam-Melkweg)) and Belgium (Vosselaar-Biebob) in March 2006.. Toured the UK with The Hurt Process (uk, Golf/Victory records) in April 2006.. Played at the famous Groezrock festival in April 2006.. Did a support show for 18 Visions (us, Trustkill) in the Netherlands in June 2006.. Did a support show for Hundred Reasons (uk) in the Belgium in June 2006.. Played at Graspop Metal Meeting in June 2006.. Played at Pukkelpop in August 2006.. Did a support show for Boy Sets Fire (us) in the Belgium in September 2006.. Between November 2006 & April 2007: writing & recording new album – no shows & tours.. Did 2 support shows for Silverstein (CAN, Victory records) in Utrecht (NL) and Schaffen (BE) in May 2007.. Did a support show for From Autumn to Ashes (US, Vagrant Records) in Belgium in May 2006.. Did a support show Aiden (US, Victory records) in Belgium in June 2007.. Played lots of shows in Belgium and the Netherlands to promote 'uncover everyone'.. Released second full length, 'A glimpse of the Inside' in June 2007.. Toured Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Norway in December 2007 with Across Five Aprils (US, Victory Records).. Did a support show for Coheed & Cambria (us) in Belgium in Januari 2008.. Did a tour in Portugal in April 2008 with More Than A Thousand.. Did a small UK headline tour in May 2008.. Got an endorsement deal with MACBETH clothing and footwear (Tom Delonge, US) in June 2008.. Did a support show for From First to Last (US) in Arnhem (NL) in June 2008.. Did a support show for Vanilla Sky (It) in Amsterdam (NL) in August 2008.. Played Rockstar Taste Of Chaos show in Tilburg (NL) in October 2008.. Got an endorsement deal with MONSTER ENERGY DRINK in April 2009 .. Did a tour through China during Sept/Oct 2009 and played 13 shows in Chengdu, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Chongquing, Shenzen, Wuhan ..... Did a support for A Wilhelm Scream in Kortrijk in December 2009 (BE).. Winner (out of over 200 bands) of contest on Belgian radiostation Studio Brussels. Performed a song live on air + airplay afterwards and played as support of Channel Zero (BE) in a sold out AB, Brussels in January 2010 ....
