Marpo real name Ota Petrina, 22 years old rapper from Prague, Czech Republic. Started rappin when he was 14 and thru the time he released couple of mixtapes such as "Lyrical Expression Vol.1 and Vol.2" or "Lyrical Heavyweight". Marpo formed a group called Charackter Crue with Mc Wohnout, Shareem, MC Oer and Dj Paicke but in the end there was only Marpo and Wohnout.
In 2005 Marpo have released his first solo cd called "Art Of Origin“ which was pretty succesfull due to the fact it Marpo was first Czech Republic Hip-Hop Artist to drop a battle record, a cd packed with metaphors and punchlines, Rather the typical "Lets have fun and be happy" bullshit.. Few months later, Marpo won "Rap Fights“ Semi-finals for 3000$ between the greatest and most known rappers from around here. In 2006 Marpo won the "Whos The King – Rap Fights Finals“ for 5000$. 2 months later he released his second cd called "Marpocalypse". In early fall Marpo went on tour promoting the album with opening-acts Black Ops(FL,USA). The tour turned out very succesfull and ended in Prague with 700 people in Club Bordo. Marpo, V-Dubb, Hard Target & Chief (Black Ops) made a mixtape while on tour in the Czech Republic called "Marpo Presents : The Bang Mixtape Vol.1“ which was released in January 2007 followed by tour in 8 Czech cities along with Kfied(Finland's Top Producer) and Lisa Gallo. In February 2007 Marpo then won a TV Ocko Award (like MTV but Czech) for best 2006 Czech Hip-Hop Artist of the Year. 2 months later Marpo inked the deal with Universal Music (www.universal.cz) and is releasing his third solo album called "Rapstar" featuring production from Finland's finest Kfied.
Marpo also has setup a label called "Musiclovers" with permission of Kfied where he plans to Wohnout's solo album(Name TBO) and Hard Target's solo album "Karma“.

The first time I spoke to OSI of The Regiment they had a few singles out that caught my attention. They were one of the dynamite hip-hop groups hailing from the motor-city. Shortly after that they launch their debut album “The Come Up” organic timing, tight beats and soulful music layered with dope lyrics was all part of the program. They became part of the legendary Rawkus 50 and engaged in a relentless independent hustle.
