Steves influences are surprisingly not guitarist's from the last 30 years, Instead taking influence from great soul singers like Peter Cox, Joe Tex, Wilson Pickett , James Brown & the God father Stevie Wonder & the ultimate God of voice Tom Jones, although Jon Amor & Francis Dunnery deserve a mention as guitarists/ songwriters.....
Gerry's musical education is inspired by James Grant, Teenage Fanclub, Francis Macdonald, The Pastels, June Brides, and James with a special thanks to Stephen Smith and Tommy Brown. The only singing that matters is Katrina Mitchell and Sam M. Favourite bass players are Gerry Love, Joe MacAlinden, Jim Glennie..... Andy Rourke and the incomparable Sushil Dade............Saul Davies provides inspiration......................................................................................

Hailing from all over the U.K, The Marratimes music contain's an eclectic mix of styles, never afraid to wear their influences as lapel badges, It sweep's round Indie, touches Americana, skirt's round folk, flies between the legs of rock and will positivley flee from death metal. Over the years The Marratimes have shared stages with Francis Dunnery, Dorie Jackson, Hayseed Dixie, Ocean Colour Scene, It Bites, Hazel O'Connor, Hawkwind, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Wilko Johnson, James Grant and many, Many Others. The Back end of 2008 will see the lads back together writing new material for the 2009 festival circuit, which was missed by all in 2008. That's about it, Thanks so much for having a look. ........ We're playing @ Maggie Mays in Glasgow this Friday, 10th April. Hi there, just dropping you a msg to let you know what we do. Sugar House Music is primarily a production label working on band demos through to record label releases. We are also currently signing acts to production/management/artist referral deals to help further bands we feel of potential, by working on every aspect of the band, from songwriting, production, recording and passing the act onto our list of industry contacts.
As an offshoot of this, we also have a record label to release bands we like that we haven't produced a recording for.
