THE MARS PATROL is a female fronted pop/rock, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. Now based in London, England, you may have seen them recently sharing the stage alongside such artists as KT Tunstall, Kula Shaker, The Feeling, Rooster, Hanson, Orson, The Rifles & Finley Quaye. Already renowned for their extreme passion and energy in both their music and live shows, no wonder Ocean View Press in Boston commented:
”you'd think you were watching them in front of 35,000 fans at Madison Square Garden”
The overriding themes in their music - positivity, solace, understanding - sees the band make light of the darkest situations: a trait often overlooked in today’s increasingly cynical, me-first society. And such is their quality, immediacy and warmth. Davina Divine says, “our music is designed to inspire, help you escape and confront your fears.” Davina, who writes the majority of the band’s lyrics, has been recognised for a voice that touches the head as well as the heart.
The Mars Patrol recently did their first US tour on the East Coast which was hugely succesful, including shows in New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston & New York City. A busy gigging schedule, partnered with a massively strong internet presence has contributed to the rise and rise of The Mars Patrol. The band now has a worldwide following, including fansites almost everywhere, including the UK, Japan, Europe, America, Canada, Australia and China, and this following is set to grow due to the recent release of the awesome EP, “MAKING MEMORIES” (released on the band's own signature label, Ravista Records). Who I'd like to meet:
Davina Divine - Vocals
Who/What are your major influences?:
People like yourself are my influence! I get lots of inspiration from the people who come out to see us play. I enjoy lots of styles of music :) I find taking a trip away abroad is good for inspiration. I appreciate the Arts, I studied Art & Graphic Design at University. I have always had a creative personality.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?:
I like to watch films, I enjoy going to see other bands play. Socialising with the friends. I love animals. I love food! I enjoy how some foods compliment each other really well, like Brie and Cranberry lol!
What advice do you have for people who want to form their own band?:
Having a strong writing core in the band is essential, its good to have at least one person who you can bounce your ideas off. Once you get going writing some songs you will learn lots about yourself and then you can teach other people your vision. People are attracted to confidence and you will find that others will want to play in your band. Maintain a focus and don't let egos get in the way, that can ruin things for some bands.
Ross Nelson - Guitar/Backing Vocals
Who/What are your major influences?:
Musically I like anything that has a good melody. I wouldn't say I have any major influences, I just create what I like to hear. My other influences are our fans and the ones who make our awesome fan sites!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?:
I like to eat Japanese food!
What has your biggest personal challenge been so far?:
Exams when I was at school, but I did it!
What advice do you have for people who want to form their own band?:
Just do it! Don't think too much about it and don't let anyone put you off the idea or tell you that what you are doing is not good.
Stephen Parker - Bass/Backing Vocals
Who/What are your major influences?:
My main influences probably come from a mixture of Rock, metal and pop/punk. I've always been into that kinda stuff. At the same time I love a great pop song with a strong hook and catchy melody.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?:
I am the biggest music fan you'll ever meet, so I enjoy searching for new bands and going to shows. Also, I LOVE movies, so if I'm not at a show I'll be chillin at the cinema with some friends.
What advice do you have for people who want to form their own band?:
DO IT! DO IT NOW! Maybe we'll open for you one day! Practice hard and keep the people who inspire you close to you. Don't let anyone tell you you can't do it... and most of all... have FUN!

am almost finished with my book of my life and how I overcame DV thru
practicing what I know about the law of attraction. My passion is to teach
others how they can do it as well.
I
have written most of it in my blog on an almost daily basis for the past Three
months. I suggest starting on the oldest blog so it makes sense and you know
who the people are.
To
find the story of how I came to start writing, look for “THE BIG BANG, My
husband tried to kill us both then when he failed he killed us Himself” Or “My Story” It will blow you away!
There
is a lot more to the story than that. I was abused as a child then it followed
me into my relationships as an adult. I HAVE TRIUMPTHED OVER
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

I think u'll enjoy this one. It's pretty cool but also a little creepy too LOL. You'll need to follow these directions EXACTLY to get the proper results. Put the followwing into the address-bar of your web-browser. das Raumschiff "NEUZEIT" ist von seinem kreativem Trip durch die Galaxie wieder zurück und sicher auf der Erde gelandet.
