The Mary Major
The Mary Major is made up by four members of the late goth metal band Beseech and the experienced bassplayer Jörgen Ström. After the decision to put Beseech to sleep it didn't take long for The Mary Major to form, uptil now there's been a couple of changes of members but the lineup is pretty solid by now.
The last year has been spent on working on new music and doing some gigs to spread the word about TMM's music. Of course we hope to be able to announce more gigs this spring. Late 2008 we sent out a demo and a while later TMM was signed and ready. Right now we're in the studio recording our debut album, we're planning a release in April.

Roy	Jun 19 2009 9:03 AM l listen to BESEECH more than most & 1 of the main reasons is Erik's voice - he's the best male vocalist l've heard & knows how to use his voice like an instrument to give a song another nuance - it's a subtle technique, but 1 that leaves a lasting impression & gives each song its own identity, like the sigh on the end of the t/t of Drama, or his spitting of "Bitch!" in the fade-out of that track - these finishing touches are moments of genius & raise these tracks to a 'Higher Level'- l hope with THE MARY MAJOR all this bands' vast talent at last receives the recognition they deserve...
