L'home de massapà recorda que va començar a pensar a un bosc humit a cualqun lloc al sud-est d'Anglaterra, viu devall les arrels d'un gran arbre, acompanyat de dos conills. No surt gairebé mai, i des del seu amagatall escriu i escriu sense descans. Manté el contacte amb la resta del món enviant cartes.
En Jordi és el mèdium de The Marzipan Man al món real. Ell conta a qui el vulgui escoltar que un dia de pluja, a prop del bosc de Salisbury, es va trobar amb l’home de massapà. D’aquell encontre no en sabem molt més, però sí sabem que, a partir d’aquell moment, les cançons anaren prenent forma fins arribar a conformar el repertori de The Marzipan Man Stories
Com en una obra de titelles, en un llibre il.lustrat o en una historieta dibuixada, una a una les històries que conta l’home de massapà es van succeïnt: la nina de la cinta màgica que puja a la font del riu, la guineu d’orelles punxagudes que viu a Battersea Bridge i es transvesteix quan comença la temporada de caça (que per ell es durant tot l'any), la nit memorablement fosca que la realitat va conéixer el somni. etc i etc...
L’homme de massepain se souvient qu’il a commencé à penser dans une forêt humide quelque part au sud-est de l’Angleterre. Depuis il vit là bas sous les racines d’un grand arbre et partage l’endroit avec deux lapins. Il sort rarement de chez lui et passe toute la journée à écrire dans sa cachette.
Il garde le contact avec le monde extérieur par le biais des lettres qu’il écrit et reçoit.
Son manager est Monsieur Moustache Sérieuse.

En esta exposición colectiva se buscan las analogías de nuestra identidad con la Arepa, por eso Devoner (artista plástico), Response (arquitecto), Gala (fotógrafa) e Ink (diseñador gráfico) se han unido para crear un espacio que simbolice ese sentimiento de pertenencia.
