About The MassaCrista

.. .. .. .. .. ..The Massacrista was founded in 2004. Ever growing since their first gigs and 2005 demo "Desert dunes and stoner bars" they have burned their mark on the local stoner-rock scene. Heavily influenced by old 70's rock and psychedelic bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy and Pink Floyd, but with a true stoner approach like Kyuss and Orange Goblin, "The Massacrista" sound was born. Their energetic live shows and dynamic music brought them to opening gigs for bands like Brant Bjork and the bros(USA), Colour Haze(D),Truckfighters(SW) and Dozer(SW). In 2007 they recorded their demo "Endless sea". Now with a more mature and focused sound, this 4 track EP was well respected by press and fans alike. Now since this time "The Massacrista" has been giggin' their asses off, and some line-up changes due to personal problems were at hand. Finding the time inbetween, new tracks were written.This lead to the freshly recorded 2009 self-titled, full-length 9 track album "The Massacrista". Again a collaboration between "Rock 'n Roll Billy" Willy Berrevoets at Avalanche studio's and "The Massacrista", this album is gonna make it BIG!!! Get ready for some LOW STEAMIN' MUTHA FUCKER HEAVY ASS ROCKING OUT LOUD STONER!!!!
