About me:
THEMATICS is a weekly radio show, part of the Jaunt Collective on 2RRR-FM in Sydney. The theme is themes and they vary from genre-specific, to mixes and lyrical themes, across two hours. Special guests are often on the show to help select to suit whatever theme is chosen.
Another feature of Thematics is showcasing local producers and DJs who come in and destroy the airwaves with live sets.
Music covered varies depending on what I'm into at the time, and the theme is often based around whats on in my life or in the scenes of music and art that I'm interested in.
Tends to cover: Breakcore, Hardcore, Cutups, Grindcore, Thrash, Punk Rock, Powerviolence, Noise, Abstract electronica, Indie rock, Pop punk, IDM, Jungle, Reggae, Dub, Ska, Gabber, Pop, Post Rock, Post Punk, Jazz, Crust, Rocknroll, Mashups, Stoner Rock, Doom, Sludge, Ambient, Spoken Word, Literature, Soundscapes ++++++
Thematics airs each Saturday night in Sydney on 2RRR (88.5fm) and all shows are posted online as MP3s at www.thematicsradio.com
