F.A.Q.
What is The Matt and Dan Show?
The Matt and Dan Show launched in April 2008. It is a new music show that is based in Glasgow (Scotland, UK) and is broadcasted on Strathclyde Fusion Radio (The University of Strathclyde’s student radio station).
Who are Matt and Dan?
Matt and Dan are both students; Matt's studies are music related and Dan’s studies are business related. They are both 20 years old.
When does the show broadcast?
The show is on air during University term time and broadcasts at 4PM (GMT) every Wednesday. The show can be listened to via www.strathclydefusion.com for people based off campus.
How do you choose what music to play?
The music played on the show comes from a combination of artists/bands getting in touch, and what Matt and Dan find through trawling the internet.
Do you play tracks that music promoters send you?
We only play tracks we like, so yes we will occasionally play tracks sent by promoters but we prefer to play artists that we have spoken to personally.
Do you have live sets from artists?
This is something that we are looking into, and hopefully in 2009 this will be a feature of the show.
Why is the sound quality low?
Due to myspace upload procedures the show has to be compressed into mp3 format and sound quality is reduced. However we are currently trying to work around this.
Do you have a podcast available?
A podcast is not available, but what the public want, the public get, so if listeners want a podcast we will try get one online
How can you contact show?
The Matt and Dan Show can be contacted via the myspace page or via the e-mail address:
